I went here in 2018 and came back here in Feb 2020 but it was different. It used to be spacious and the tea was great but the food was also delicious. What stays the same is the tea. Food was served in small portion, my noodle was too salty, the rib soup was disappointing. The tea was great though.

Overrated place. Overprice tea and food. Decent food taste. Not properly trained employee. Order a genmaicha, come a green tea matcha. To order you need to find the waiter first. The only good thing is the tea taste, tea plantation view and music. Other than that, it is like the owner dont care about the business and its maintenance. Surely will not coming back and will look for other better tea house in the area.

Perfect tea time at the ndoro donker... delicious snack and nice tea, lovely ambience, great service, and acceptable price...But there's a thing that make us feel a little bit uncomfortable, they give us bill before we ask. Is that common in this area?

Ndoro Donker Tea House is the perfect place to enjoy a warm cup of tea with breathtaking scenery.The price is different based on the types of tea. It's around 20k-35k in rupiah. You will have two teapots in each types.They also have appetizers and main courses. And you can order any other of drinks like hot chocolate. Very recommended place to spend time with your family!

Nice place with nice view. The dishes are not superb, but still okay for chatting companies. Tea are great, has various menu for youngsters and oldies. Many nice places for selfies addict.

The place is cute. The price is standard for a cafe. Food, so-so. I ordered royal earl grey, it comes with a teabag in a pot. Also green tea latte, which is plain.

It's good. They had huge tea plantation right at the back of the building. There were also cute sitting areas for couples or if you just wanna chill with friends. The serve varieties of tea, but unfortunately the fries wasn't really my type. It's crowded at the back, and they don't have smoking area which is a bummer.Toilet was pretty clean.

It is a nice place for staying. The place is near the pines forest. It Is located in Karanganyar, Central Java , Indonesia. The cost is very reasonable, cheap enough. The view around this place is very beautiful. We can get this place by car or minibus. I visited here with my students in scouting activities. We stayed for three days. The facility is good enough. The food is a lot of vegetables, because there are a lot of farmers who plant vegetables here.

Great place for spending time with friends after visiting Hindu temples nearby. Blackcurrant and its camomile tea are recommended. Their tea(s) are lovely. Cups for two is only 20k rupiahs. While the food is so-so.Behind the restaurant, you can also visit their tea plantation. Great place for taking pictures. I also love their furniture in the gift shop. Lovely!!

Yes I recommend this joint for its atmosphere and a bit of scenery that surrounds it, and experience. But no I don’t recommend for the food and even the tea. Yes it has several fine teas on the menu but not of the finest and or distinguish enough where you can’t or hard to find elsewhere. When I go to a good tea house in a tea plantation I expect at least one distinguish kind of tea, single or blend, that brings ‘the heart’ of that place. A potion that draws me back, that makes me miss that place. Not just fine but common teas.Oh anyway I love the VW beetle with Ndoro Donker livery 😊

I was in in 2014 and it was really good. Big garden and a really good view of the Tea Plantations. It was not that good anymore, the garden dining areas were not really clean as if they don’t really pay attention on the area. The Interior inside was lovely still. The food portion was really small, so it‘s safe to say that it is really expensive here. They used to be able in selling the tea plantations view, but it‘s not even a thing anymore. However their services were good and friendly!

Good for you who want to relax & eat while enjoying the beautiful scenery of tea garden. You can go to the garden & take a pic there. There are numerous spots too in the restaurants for taking picture. About the food, they offer various kinds of teas, so i think u should consider trying one of those. The restaurant is quite spacious, so it's perfect for family. Some of the parking lot is located across the restaurant, so be careful if you brought kids/elderly with you.

Didn't recommended for you that want to stop by for having a meal. This place was really (just) a tea house that surrounded by tea plantations. The view was great enough. That''s all. Price, menu option, waiter's quality, atmosphere, don't expect all of them. Beside tea, they served limited foods and other beverages. Yes, its very very limited and pricey enough but with suck tastes.The foods was served around 5-10 minutes after reserved (faster than the drinks that took some times to served) and it could tell how it taste. Waiters not too communicative and their manner below expectation. There is a live performance when I came there that was way too loud till I could whispering right to ear if I wanna talk. And many flies around the table that really bothering. Don't let the pic of foods fools you.

Good place to visit. I love the concept and the decoration details, location is easy to access. A lot of menus to choose, taste aside from their good tea, are average, prices also inexpensive. Also plenty of spot to taking photos.

Less tasty and small portion of food. They served instant coffee and it was overpriced. This place is only for you who want to enjoy the tea with the view of tea plantation. And also takes too long for your order.
